Every year, my friends and I come together to honor the legacy of Dan Alford, a father whose love for the water and community left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. This event started as a tribute to Dan, but it has grown into something much bigger—a celebration of life, friendship, and the power of coming together for a cause. Now, even after Dan’s passing, we continue to gather not just to fish but to support those facing challenges that remind us of the strength and resilience of the human spirit.

This year, our efforts are dedicated to supporting Karon Fairrow as she battles Stage IV appendiceal cancer. It’s more than just a day on the water; it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, just as Dan would have wanted.
